Channel Trading is a family business that was founded in 1986 by Claud Webb when he moved down from Zambia to South Africa.

Having been involved in road construction in Botswana and Zambia, Claud was acutely aware of the challenges businesses in these countries faced when it came to the supply of spares and other commodities.

Channel Trading has adapted to the changing times and improving economies of the countries they do business in and now find themselves sourcing and supplying a wide range of materials both new, second hand and repaired.

The Channel Trading names is well known among suppliers in South Africa and while the company is large enough to argue for the biggest discounts from its sources, it’s still small enough to care about the individual well being of its clients.
